Data Deletion
Purpose: Often there is a need to test a session or a specific activity by the session facilitator or with the project stakeholders. Now prior to running the session you can execute a walk through or dry-run and have a convenient way to clear the data before the production session(s) take place.
Session Level Delete
Step 1: Locate the "Delete Session Data" text under the session actions ellipsis
Step 2: Type "delete" in the modal dialog that appears
Activity Level Delete
Step 1: Locate the "Delete Activity Data" under any activity results screen horizontal ellipsis button
Step 2: Type "delete" in the modal dialog that appears
Remove/Delete Session Participant
Step 1: Under Edit Session, locate the participant you would like to remove. Click the vertical ellipsis and click "Remove from List"
Step 2: Confirm you'd like to remove them from the session.
Step 3 ( Optional ): Participant is now in a removed state. If you'd like to continue to completely delete there existence from the system ( wiping their data ). Click again on the vertical ellipsis and you'll see the "Delete" action.
Step 4 ( Optional cont'd. ): Type "delete" into the confirm dialog box that appears and poof, they never existed in Converge.
Countdown Timer
Step 2: Fill out the form to create the timer. There is an optional short text you can add for context to the timer such as "Session starting in:" or "Activity ending in:" etc. The other field is the number of minutes to countdown from. For this release the range is 1-20 min. Open to feedback here as it gets tested.
Once the timer is created the participants will see this globally whether they are on the agenda or an activity
If a leader wished to end the timer early they will see a clickable trashcan icon that will end the timer. Otherwise the timer will end and disappear automatically. This is an aesthetic informational timer, the system will not advance or refuse user action on expiring. That is still handled by the facilitator.
