Network Requirements for Enterprise IT
Overview
Converge utilizes Zoom Video SDK for audio/video communications. This document outlines the required network configurations to ensure proper service functionality within your corporate environment.
Quick Implementation Summary
Essential requirements for Converge audio connectivity:
- Outbound TCP ports: 80, 443, 8801, 8802
- Outbound UDP ports: 3478, 3479, 8801-8810
- Domain whitelist: *.zoom.us
- Key IP ranges must be whitelisted (detailed below)
Detailed Network Requirements
Required Ports
TCP:
- 80, 443: Initial connection and signaling
- 8801, 8802: Media transport fallback
UDP:
- 3478, 3479: STUN/TURN services
- 8801-8810: Media transport
Domain Whitelist Requirements
The following domains must be accessible:
- *.zoom.us
Required IP Ranges
IPv4 Ranges (partial list):
- 3.7.35.0/25
- 3.21.137.128/25
- 3.25.41.128/25
- 3.80.20.128/25
- 3.104.34.128/25
- 3.120.121.0/25
- 3.127.194.128/25
- 3.208.72.0/25
- 3.235.71.128/25
IPv6 Ranges:
- 2407:30C0::/32
- 2600:9000:2600::/48
- 2620:123:2000::/40
Proxy Configuration
- HTTPS/SSL proxy servers supported on port 443
- Automatic proxy detection is supported
- Recommended: Allowlist zoom.us and *.zoom.us from proxy inspection
Security Software Considerations
WebRTC Requirements
- WebRTC connections must be allowed
- UDP traffic should not be blocked for optimal performance
- TCP fallback is available if UDP is restricted
Verification Process
To verify proper configuration:
- Test access to https://zoom.us
- Verify connection to ports using telnet or similar tools
- Conduct a test call using Converge platform
